Building Fifty More Temporary Shelters

By now the government should have provided temporary shelters to all the effected families. Despite the considerable sum of money received from around the world, the government is very inefficient and many people complain that it is slow and careless. I have many reasons to believe them.

My projects in the camps are being supervised by two monks in Kalmune and Ampara (located about 250 kilometers from Colombo). Because of the difficulty with transportation they travel by motorbike about thirty miles to the location of the camps.

I will provide all the resources and the money for them to get things done. We are trying to get more refugees set up in camps and remove them from poor conditions. The government agents have given us permission to set up 25 more temporary shelters for twenty-five families. Eventually we will increase the number of families in our Triple Gem Camp up to one hundred.
