Middle East Leadership Conference

Venerable Bhante Wimala attended a Middle East Leadership Conference as a special guest speaker. The conference entitled “The Divine Winds of Freedom” was held in Istanbul, Turkey and was attended by religious and political leaders from the Middle East and around the world. The three day conference, held from the 6th to the 8th of May,  provided an opportunity for the participants to learn and share information about the Middle East conflicts, peace building efforts through dialogue, negotiations and religious tolerance. Bhante Wimala was accompanied by Mr. Hasmukh Dawda from Nairobi, Kenya.
