Reviews
of Lessons of the Lotus
Im
sure the book will be a real winner, for,
truly it has universal appeal, and it entertains as
well as greatly informs, and, yes, it sometimes even
shocks. Well, it surely stirs to wakefulness
the inquiring mind, especially if the reader hasnt
been exposed to the Buddhist views of life and death,
results and consequences, joy and sadness, and the formulae
for inner peace.
The wonderful
thing is that you wrote the book your very own way,
so that it doesnt appear to be contrived or manufactured.

Would
you pass along a message to the editor for me? As I
mentioned to you, I found Lessons of the Lotus a delightful
book, full of gentle humor. I think the author did a
wonderful job of presenting the main principles of Buddhism
so that many Western readers will find them comprehensible,
intriguing, and, above all, useful. Id like to
request that the editor send me a copy for my own use
when the book is published.
Thanks
for letting me work on this; its been a privilege.
(I dont often feel that way about a mass-market
book!)
