Bhante Wimala
and another monk having a personal
experience of what the villagers
must go through everyday to cross
the river. Whenever the water level
raises the villagers have the problem
of crossing the river. |
This man has
been dreaming all his life of having
a bridge to cross the river. He
has gotten swept away by the current
and survived. Finally the dream
has come true and now he knows that
his children and grand children
will be safe. He came down to the
river to express his gratitude to
Bhante. |
Bhante measures
for the new bridge. One hundred
and seventy feet long, fifteen feet
high and five and a half feet wide. |
