Bhante Wimala visited many water wells which had being polluted by tsunami see water to asses the clean, drinking water needs and provide water purification systems. Sinhalese people would not go the this area which was under the control of LTT before tsunami, Bhante was escorted by special task force officers, well trained military unit similar to Marines in the US.
