Seventh Hindu Temple Under Construction

As part of our disaster relief humanitarian projects, we have previously reconstructed six Hindu temples that were all destroyed or damaged due to natural disasters.

We are very glad to let you know that our seventh Hindu temple is under construction. We hope to complete the construction work before the end of the year. We will invite our sponsors and organize a special ceremony to hand over the temple to the community in December 2013.

The temple is known as the Sri Sithy Vinayakar Temple. It is located in the Vavniya District of Sri Lanka. At the request of the village leaders, I visited the village and saw the condition of the old temple, which is in the former war torn region and was badly damaged during the war. Two sponsors, both my close friends, have come forward and provided the necessary funds for this noble deed.
