Building a New Health Care and Administrative Center in San Jose

We are very glad to have provided assistance to build Barangay Hall, a semi-permanent village health care, counseling and administrative center in San Jose. Since the typhoon destroyed everything in this community they had no place to provide health care and conduct other administrative work of the village chief. At the request of the village chairwoman Amalita we provided iron sheets, wood and other building material to build what they call Barangay Hall, which means administrative building and community center. Volunteers from the community provided the labor for free to build the center and we are glad to see that the center is already being used to provide basic services for the community and an office for the chairwoman.
