Sponsoring Cancer Care Program in Bangladesh

Bangladesh Cancer Care Society received a donation from TGS for its women’s Cancer Care Program. In his visit to Cancer Care Center in Dhaka, Bhante met with relevant officers of the organization and toured the facilities.

The money will be used for the following programs:

A) Awareness creation regarding women’s health;
B) Awareness creation regarding cervical cancer;
C) Outdoor patient management camp in the rural area;
D) Drugs for cancer patients and chemotherapy.

Dr. Prof. Latifa Shamsuddin, the former head of the department of gynecology at the Dhaka University hospital, received the money from Venerable Bhante Wimala on behalf of women’s Cancer Care Program of Bangladesh Cancer Society.
